Nietzsche said…and I totally agree.
Ever since I was little I’ve set background music to every moment of my life.
Music has made me laugh, cry, dance, shout, fall in love, fall out of love…feel and get excited!!
I was born in Terrassa but live in Barcelona (in the Gothic Quarter).
I think I’m energetic, curious, optimistic, generous, responsible and committed. I’m also a perfectionist, a sufferer, stubborn and critical. I value honesty, common sense and a sense of humour. I can’t bear injustice or disinterest.
I like art, design, the latest trends, fashion, film. Swimming in the sea, discovering new places, a good meal and a good wine…in the company of good friends.
I’ve worked in marketing and advertising for more than 20 years now. I’ve worked in agencies, media, the marketing department at San Miguel and at Adecco.
And I’ve been going to concerts and music festivals for more than 25 years, both here at home and abroad. Above all indie music. A good concert is a great excuse for a getaway ^_^
My latest position was Director of Operational Marketing at Adecco. I liked the work, had a good relationship with my co-workers…but I had always wanted to create my own project related to music… So in 2010 I decided to leave (on good terms) and created laBeca. In the middle of the crisis, yes ;)
I think that music arouses sensations and emotions inside us that can affect our mood. And music is a great way to communicate.
And this is what I do. At laBeca we work on marketing projects with links to music. I’m one of the lucky ones; my job is my passion… Even though it isn’t always easy (I do miss my pay check…)
On this blog, I want to share experiences and sensations that music has provoked. If you think that “without music, life would be a mistake”, I encourage you to participate.
