My name is Anabel Garcia Lara and I’m from Terrassa.
When I sat down to write my introduction I realised that it’s difficult to define yourself. So, once again, I turned to a couple of great friends for help. According to them, I’m noble, fun, candid, observant, meticulous but also creative, sincere and a good listener.
And about what makes me happy … I like singing, writing, good conversation, the sun, deserted beaches and driving when there’s no hurry to arrive, when the destination doesn’t really matter.
I studied Humanities and Journalism in Barcelona, a city I am deeply in love with. And even though I’ve worked in radio and several press offices, this is my first foray into blogging, at Antic Garatge. Quite an honour.
In this spot in the garage that I’ll be occupying, I’d like to explain and share some special, personal moments. Quasi-magical instants that could have gone unnoticed, lost in the routine and fast pace of life, but that came up suddenly in every-day settings and captivated me with their beauty.
I invite you to be curious and to activate all of your senses. Because it’s the little, simple things that affect us most deeply. In the words of the Little Prince, “What is essential is invisible to the eye.”
